Christmas recipes-ez desserts and dinner items?

I like the Southern flair- but i am very open to suggestions..thanks everyone and happy holidays.. fruit salad…take a can of mixed fruit, drain, add cool whip (nuts, shredded coco nut if desired) and call it a day!!
